The Cowboy Cafe in Dubois is a classic American small-town cafe serving traditional dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner since 1993. From delicious homemade apple pie to country-fried steak, Cowboy Cafe has a wide selection of tasty meals, plus cocktails like the house specialty mimosa and Bloody Mary.
 
In Sheridan, Birch is a noted fine-dining establishment with a Californian flair. The menu is always changing, featuring beautiful and tasty meals in a cool, chic atmosphere. They use only the freshest ingredients in every dish. Make sure to try the shrimp ceviche and lamb osso buco.
 
Tom Balding Bits & Spurs is a small metalwork manufacturer in Sheridan. They sell bits, spurs, and other handmade riding equipment to be used by professional equestrians and trainers. Also in downtown Sheridan is the boutique gift shop, Crazy Woman Trading Company. This iconic retailer sells a mixture of items such as gifts, home decor, Wyoming-made products, apparel, and more.
 

Things to Do

Sheridan is home to the Big Horn Equestrian Center, which is where you'll find the Big Horn Polo Club––the oldest polo outfit in the west. Watch polo games every Sunday and practice matches throughout the summer months. Admission is free, and tailgating is always encouraged.
 
There are great parks to explore in Sheridan, including the Thorne-Rider Park, which features picnic areas, a sledding hill, a basketball park, a baseball field, and more. 

Devil's Tower is a Wyoming landmark ideal for climbing. For more than 20 years, Devil's Tower Climbing has been the area's premier climbing school and guide service, guiding thousands of individuals to the Summit and back down. It's a beautiful, scenic area with a visitor center and guest ranch nearby.
